Sony Sound Bar intermittent failure

I have a Sony Sound Bar HT-S100F/SF150 connected to a LG TV UJ63.......... When I connected it and set it up two years ago, it worked fine and has continued to do so. Recently, last December and last night, it has failed to turn on when pressing the TV remote. On both occasions after doing some research and carrying out a reset (press and hold On, + and > for 5 seconds) this did not have the desired effect. Only a total disconnection of the HDMI cable between the sound bar and the ARC input and also dropping off the power (I got so fed up, I just left it all overnight) and on reconnecting it all, it works! Anyone had this and is there/did you fix it?
