Will your hearing be in person or remotely?

Note: The video above omits to say that either party can be represented by a Lay Representative under The Lay Representatives (Rights of Audience) Order 1999. It's not just formal legal representation that's allowed. :)

Be ready for the telephone call anytime from when courts open, say 09.00 and, if you don't get a call, don't disappear until after the courts close 16.00.  Have crib sheet of everything you want to get across to the judge, even though he/she will lead it.  Don't forget to ask for costs when you win!

Update - sadly I lost the judge was very understanding but said recent cases going up to the high court allow charges of up to £100 as being reasonable and that in this situation the charge was inflated but something should be paid :(
She reduced the overall charges by £100 but either way I lost - she said my WS was very detailed and good and that I had represented myself well however she had to go by what other cases had set precedence that these type of charges are enforceable, she said that these small claims cases are now moving towards being in favour of the Claimant
    Oh well I tried haha @Le_Kirk@Coupon-mad @Jenni_D @1505grandad

Shame , but litigation is a lottery

I assume that the total to be paid is less than £200 then ?? £230 minus £100 is £130
