Parkside tools at Lidl

just to make you aware , if you buy any parkside tools that need consumables , or replacement batteries , you are going to struggle
in the user manuals it tells you to go to https://www.kompernass.com/de/parkside/ to place your orders , however they have decided since brexit not to get involved in UK vat , and simply refuse to post to the UK
I have 4 x 20v powertools , 3 of my larger 4ah batteries are now failing/failed and i am down to a singular 2ah battery , alternative sorses are ebay with a huge markup
seems a shame that over £200 worth of tools and resorting to ebay for batteries

Have you contacted LIDL to see if they have any suggestions?0

yes , by phone and by messenger on faceache , they state they have no UK stock and are "looking into it"
I rightly pointed out that I would have no reason to return £200 worth of tools (4 items) as they were as such not faulty , it was the consumables (batteries) that had failed rendering the tools un usable
and a £200 orniment ,that would stop me buying so much as a parkside screwdriver now0 -
Isn't Brexit great at cutting down all the red tape and making everything frictionless!2

yes , however a greater proportion of the UK thought it was a good idea , as a side note alloy car wheels in uk , most sellers did not keep stock , they were drop shipped from germany , due to brexit and £135 limit before import duty , thay cannot drop ship , mst be sent to uk seller first , however people like demon tweaks say 300-400 wheels on back order andf not taking new orders now1

I didn't know that if you were over 20 your not allowed to have aftermarket alloys, you learn something every day.2

Lidl were selling batteries and tools in my store a couple of weeks ago and they seem to come on offer quite often.2

Pls could someone help… I’ve just purchased a 20v Parkside drill/driver, and am using a florabest battery. If I pull trigger straight back, it turns on for 3/4 seconds then turns off!! If you pull trigger slowly and build up to full whack it’s all fine.
Ive not got a Parkside battery to test this happens the same. So is this normal, or perhaps the florabest battery isn’t quite compatible??0
