Link financial debt collection agency

Hi , I have a few fraudulent accounts on my credit file with link financial debt collection agency
I have tried emailing them several times with zero response .transunion and Experian can’t get a response from them either after contacting them on my behalf
the credit report companies have temporarily removed all the link financial accounts from my credit report for now , but obviously I still need to sort things out
should I go to the ombudsman with this now ?

If the credit Agencies have removed them for now that’s fine as nobody will see them. Long term it needs to be sorted but if they never respond then they will be permanently hidden.0

Have Equifax hidden them too? Just thinking you need them all to get rid as you don’t want it to stop you obtaining credit0

Yes sorry they are hidden on all 3 , how on earth do I get them to respond ?Jamesyb123 said:Have Equifax hidden them too? Just thinking you need them all to get rid as you don’t want it to stop you obtaining credit0 -
Yes it’s. Great in the short term , I’m not looking to obtain credit anyway , just not sure how to get through to themJamesyb123 said:If the credit Agencies have removed them for now that’s fine as nobody will see them. I know what you mean even though they’re hidden you’ll know they’re lurking I think if they’re an operating company then they will respond to the credit agencies at some point if they don’t exist anymore they would never reappear but I hope they do respond for you it’s a pain when you have something lurking in your mind1

Be great if they’ve gone bust , fingers crossedJamesyb123 said:I know what you mean even though they’re hidden you’ll know they’re lurking I think if they’re an operating company then they will respond to the credit agencies at some point if they don’t exist anymore they would never reappear but I hope they do respond for you it’s a pain when you have something lurking in your mind0 -
Make a complaint, write to them, so you have a paper trail, if they still fail to respond, ring the FOS helpline, explain what's going on, and they will write to Link telling them they have a complaint to deal with, just adds a little more clout.Hampton1968 said:

How so? Someone else will buy the debts and carry on where they left off.Hampton1968 said:

No point going to ombudsman until you have complained to the company. Have you also raised the fraud complaint with the original creditor?0
