Suggest a risky, green, investment for £1k

Ir-regular reader and poster, has one thousand pounds that must be spent for tax reasons.
And must be in a market available via HL (because I'm already there).
I'd like something with a load of risk and very environmentally friendly.
Any suggestions? (and hey didn't I get SMT right).

Anything hydrogen. Ceres Power (CRW) or ITM Power (ITM) perhaps. EQTEC (EQT) would be even further out on the risk scale.

What's wrong with the iShares clean energy ETF discussed below?
And I am curious about the "tax reasons": investing money does not allow you to claim it as a loss. Until you have sold the investment at a loss you are deemed to have the money still.

Buy a Tesla share. Or two if you can throw a little bit extra in.

    Thanks for all the ideas...
Ventus VCT is what I'm leaning towards.

Why is INRG on it's way down?

    A good question.

As it happens it was one of the largest items in my portfolio, although I sold two-thirds of my holding before it fell. I think that for a while it was the latest fashion, and then something else became trendy.

Plug Power which is 10% of the ETF lost 13% yesterday but is due to report results soon (next Thursday?) so hopefully that was a bit of pre results jitters and the results will be good.  Plus there's been a bit of an overall hit on green/clean energy stocks over last few days

Edit: in fact it seems Plug are down nearly 30% over last week.  Also Fuelcell has taken a hit

Perhaps to invest in the latter two being on the down. Speculative of course.

Is the iShares Global Clean Energy ETF available in an UK S&S ISA?
