Revolut T&Cs changes

I don't need to "advertise" Revolut. It already has an average rating of 4.3 out of 5, from over 75k reviewers.
Just compare the app with NatWest, side by side. And read about NatWest CS on Trustpilot or even here on MSE, if you think they are any better.
I really can't imagine why anyone would bin (like MrFrugal did) a far superior app in favour of old boring NatWest app that pales even in comparison to Halifax. Why not to keep both? NatWest for keeping most money (if yu want FSCS) and Revolut for daily purchases (real logos, payment times, option to add a note to each payment, etc.).
Like I said, Halifax are at least trying. In their last survey, they asked if we want retailers' logos in the app which would make it easier to navigate through transactions (different colours, you can instantly see where is Asda transaction and where is Sainsbury's). I said yes to that, so let's see how long it will take. It already works for their debit card, just not for credit cards yet.

I have a very good idea about just that, and it does not include Revolut, or other non-FSCS protected outfits or outfits with abysmal CS.
FSCS is not a holy grail, even with e-money companies your money is still protected.
Regarding CS, people are complaining about literally every single bank's CS. I had a fraudulent transaction on my Revolut card and their CS was very helpful. Btw, did you know you need to type "live agent" in ther in-app chat if you wanna chat to a person? I didn't see this on their website. From the outset: everybody can use what they like.
i don’t jnow why I would want to use a prepaid card, any prepaid card, for my ‘reward’ debit card deposits when there are FSCS protected alternatives.
FSCS may not be important for you but it is for me. Having had the need for FSCS on two occasions in the past, I know the value of this scheme, and I know that any firm can fold overnight. As to Revolut CS: I don’t know why you appear to assume that I don’t know what options their ‘live’ chat offers. The unavailability of an actual person, together with their refusal to help via Twitter or Facebook chat, and the non-availability of any email or secure messaging, was my reason for closing my Revolut account.1 -
Basically the same CS problems like with some "normal" banks. Just open a FB website of any bank and read through comments.
Having Revolut doesn't mean it has to be your only account. And you definitely don't have to hold thousands in it.
Transfering (or topping up) 100 pounds in there and use it for shopping is great though. Not to mention disposable virtual cards for online shopping.

I appreciate that Revolut's app is quite good, but it has become a lot more clunkier and messy in recent times as they try and develop a "Super app" like those which are popular in Asian countries. I personally think if you want a slick banking app, Starling Bank are the best and they also offer FSCS protection. In any case, I personally do all my spending on credit cards to benefit from cashback rather than debit cards.
Amex customer service is superb and in a different league to Revolut (and the app tells you the time and date transactions are processed along with push notifications on my phone). I then use First Direct as my main bank account which again has far superior customer service to Revolut, but I only use it for direct debits and standing orders. It's app is ok, but the good thing is I can ring someone 24/7 on the rare occasions I need to speak to someone. Revolut's in-app chat is very tedious and frustrating, even when you get through to a live agent.0 -
Amex app doesn't show payment times. I'm just looking at mine. The only way to see times of Amex payment is to view it through Google Pay.Having the option to call someone is nice, as long as it's not the only option, like for example Metro bank.EPICA - the best symphonic metal band in the world !0

You can also view the time of payment for Amex if you go on the website. You can download your transactions as an Excel spreadsheet and all the info you need is there.0 -

Thanks, but not working for me. I'm not running on Windows so... no Excel.
Tried to view it in a different program, but no times are shown anywhere, only dates.
