Misted windows

The survey has been done in my house and sale agreed months ago. It's dragging on. Since then two windows have began to mist (very old buyers aware they are old) and the window in the front door not porch door had cracked. Am I obligated to repair these?

I suspect strongly, yes.The buyers will expect the house to be in the condition they saw it in - and on which they based their offer. Say half the house fell down - would you be obliged to fix it?You could, of course, offer a discount if you really don't want to fix it. But it shouldn't cost to sort.0

if the window seals have blown and other window cracked after you agreed a sale then yes you will be liable. Morally that is up to you but think about it if you were buying the house and this happened. £200 at most I would say depending on the size of windows.0 -

Unfortunately you will have to get it repaired. I don't know what you mean by 'mist' - condensation? Hopefully they will demist when the temperature increases? £216 saved 24 October 20140 -
