Has anyone had any dealings with HD Decisions. The poped up on my creditkarma report this week, so it looks like someone was trying to get credit in my name. I tried to contact them, but their website redirects to Equifax. I contacted equifax and they deny all knowledge of them. I checked FCA, and they list them as being Equifax, I checked companies hpouse and they have them disolved last year. I have had a number of calls with Equifax to try and get them to talk to me about this search but they steadfastky refuse to acknowlege any connection to HD Decisions.

HD Decisions is a credit comparison site, have you been checking for anything such as Credit cards, Loans, Car Insurance, House Insurance?
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1 -

They're clearly not a consumer-focused business so you're not going to get to speak to them directly.
Being a dissolved company doesn't mean much either, most likely they were just absorbed into Experian rather than existing as a separate company.2 -

Its only a soft search by a comparison website, you may have used them in the past, they occasionally run searches on people when their car or home insurance etc is up for renewal, nothing to be bothered about.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
