Has anyone actually done this yet?
I did it over 2 weeks ago now & bar & text saying the process was taking longer than expected as they were busier I've heard nothing no emails to confirm the switch had even started or was still ongoing
Less than impressed!!

I did this last year when the reward was £175. It all worked fine, done in 7 days, they even compensated me an extra £10 as my cash card did not arrive in the guaranteed period. However the switching really hits your credit score due to the hard search on your record from HSBC. Has taken me a year to repair that. However still happy with my £185 for nothing. I like their app for ease of use as well0

Applied last weekend; text message received Monday saying they'd accepted my application and today I received my debit card in the post.gloryhornetboy said:Has anyone actually done this yet?

They are now asking for last 3 months payslips & a copy of my bank statement!!!
Whenever I've switched before I've never had to produce anything
Nonsense!
Not sure I will bother & will be informing Martin of this tonight
Ridiculous0 -
HSBC are within their rights to ask you for proof of income. You are within your rights not to provide this, and not to proceed with your application. Martin Lewis will do nothing about that.gloryhornetboy said:They are now asking for last 3 months payslips & a copy of my bank statement!!!

I've never been able to understand this 'logic' that expects different businesses to operate in an identical fashion and that therefore there's somehow a 'right' and a 'wrong' way - it's a bit like saying "I bought Heinz baked beans in Tesco and Morrisons but when I went to M&S (or Lidl) they only had their own brand! Nonsense! Ridiculous!".gloryhornetboy said:They are now asking for last 3 months payslips & a copy of my bank statement!!!
