Question for anyone with Barclaycard Rewards

So I got a Barclaycard Rewards card to use in conjunction with my AMEX card.
When the purchase clears on AMEX I see the reward immediately in the app. So far i've spent £56.56 and haven't seen anything in the rewards section either in the app or online. I've had my first monthly statement yet no indication of any cashback. I sent them a secure message asking how it works and that I should be seeing 14p in there. The reply I got was along the lines of 'apologies for the inconvenience, we have credited your account with 14p'. Bit weird and certainly didn't answer my question on how their system works so thought i'd ask here before getting back to them. I've since spent on the card and still no indication that i'm earning any cashback.

Its not like Amex where it instantly shows, it s appears when your next statement is produced there is a section on your statement that says Your Barclaycard cashback and the amount you have earned for the month then underneath your total when you began collecting cashback.

In the app it will show on the cashback bit underneath your balance, I guess barclaycard are a bit lazy and decided to only do it once a month.
