The Case of the Overwhelming Mortgage

Difficult few weeks but hopefully worth it. Very short staffed at work, juggling this with course application and job application. Both now in but need to start prepping for interview (likely to get an interview but lots of competition for jobs so need to work hard prior to interview). I think I have hay fever but symptoms very similar to delta variant. Lft negative yesterday but symptoms getting worse so might retest today. Had both vaccinations so hopefully not.
Money wise no news. Paid next week so can put in an overpayment then. Waiting on some quotes for work round the house.
Really need to rest this weekend as just feeling rubbish.2017 - mortgage of £140,000 and interest rate of £10 a day

Mortgage down to the £98000s. Playing around with figures and if we keep overpaying as we are we might have paid off the mortgage by the time preteen 2 is 18, so in 7 years. Currently mortgage still has another 16 years to run.
Preparing for an interview at the moment. Still waiting on interview date and presentation title but the interview is likely to be early July so lots to do in not much time. We are away next weekend so need to be ready by the end of this week.2017 - mortgage of £140,000 and interest rate of £10 a day

I’ve now got over the relief of the interview being finished and I’m in the « oh my god, why did I say that « phase.
In better news managed an overpayment to the mortgage today. We’ll just drop into the £97000s.2017 - mortgage of £140,000 and interest rate of £10 a day

I had an interview yesterday - suffice to say that if I didn't already work there I really don't think they would have offered me the job, as (looking back) my answers were appalling and I had to do a task which I messed up somewhat (they've offered me the job and some training!!) - my boss (one of 3 on the interview panel and who spent several hours persuading me to apply) really wanted me to get it, I think! I know I don't interview well - I've been told it before..
It's done now - don't beat yourself up over what you said - enjoy the weekend xxI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £202
