£20k to invest

Hi,
I’m 57, retired and have a pot of cash (£20k) to invest.
I’m in a house, (approx £350k) no mortgage. Have plenty of savings (maxed out on premium bonds and cash ISA’s) and a pension pot of around £1m (not gonna be used for at least another 4-5 years)
So trying to find a way of investing this little nest egg but really struggling to find anything worthwhile.
Any ideas??

If your pension is currently worth almost £1 million and you’re not planning to draw on it for 4-5 years then just be careful not to run out of Lifetime Allowance. It might make sense to start drawing on it now.

For this £20k, since you already max out annually on ISAs it might make sense to invest in shares outside of ISAs. Or you could just wait until this whole pandemic blows over and blow the cash on a mega holiday. It sounds like you already have a lot of cash / investments.
