Gas meter queries - hot water fault?

Hi everyone,
Any help would be really useful. We're still going back and forth with Octopus around really high gas bills for a one bedroom property, with just two occupants. The only option left to us is to send the meter off for an OFMAT test, where we will have to pay £192 if it's found to not be faulty.
We've been recording readings for so many weeks and months now, and it's on average looking like £21 of gas usage every week. Again, this is for a small one bedroom flat, on the ground floor of a well insulated and recently renovated terraced house in London. Is there any world where this could be a normal gas cost for our property and two occupants? We have quite a few hot baths each week, but no other excessive costs or appliances which drain gas usage...

Also, we know running a bath equates to 10kwh, which costs £0.39. And 20 mins of central heating is 2kwh, costing us £0.08. So neither of these feel huge enough to be equating to a total cost of £21 weekly.0

If you're confident that the meter is reading high, send it for the test to confirm it and then you'll know for sure.bootybounty12 said:Any help would be really useful. How much gas were you using in the summer, when the heating was turned off?Again, this is for a small one bedroom flat, on the ground floor of a well insulated and recently renovated terraced house in London.
How exactly do you know that it's well-insulated? Presumably it's fully double-glazed by what about the walls, are they insulated too? What temperature do you have your thermostat set to, I don't think you've mentioned? And how long each day does your heating run?N. Hampshire, he/him.
