Investing in shares

Hi
I was wandering if is possible to give your friend money to invest and if he makes a profit from it how he could transfer me it back? Can he just gifted to me and do I have to pay some taxes?

Comments

  • And if your friend makes a loss,  will you still want all your money back ?
  • Who is going to pay his Capital Gains Tax if he makes a lot?

  • Of course if he losses I will accept it. This is never 100% sure investment.
If he makes a profit from it we will calculate the tax % and see what is left.
  • How will you be able to calculate the profit and what you are properly due if you can't be bothered to take the small steps to learning how to do this yourself? If he/she says he/she has made 5% and you later find out it's 25% and he/she has pocketed the 20%, how will you feel?
