Al Rayan fixed 1 year rate change

Hello. I could have sworn at the end of last week I saw on the best savings page Al Rayan bank's 12 month fixed rate was 0.85% (Sharia), however when I look this morning it is 0.65%. I may just be having a 'senior moment' or is it the case that advertised rates may change very quickly w/out warning, and the MSE page is also updated very frequently? TIA

Just like the TV football pundits saying that it only takes a second to score a goal, interest rate changes can be implemented at the click of a mouse, and you should see at the top of the MSE page that it's updated daily, which in itself means it'll often be out of date.  Rates have been particularly volatile in recent months so if you see one you like then you should secure it immediately....
