Android 11 & Samsung Cloud?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S10 around last May after being an iPhone user for 10 years. I have been pestered since then to make the switch from Samsung Cloud to MS OneDrive.

I think at the moment at least, I have more storage with Samsung Cloud than I would do with MS OneDrive. At any rate I have declined each time.

I have just now hit the download on the Android 11 update and then wondered what the negative impact of this would be. What would it change that I like as it is that cannot be undone. Samsung Cloud came to mind so I hit pause on the update.

Does updating to Android11 change what I will currently have with Samsung Cloud in any way? I don't know if it will remove it or restrict it in any way. Remove any features.

I am hoping not and even if that is actually the case, is there anything that it removes that you only realise later on when it's too late when you get to a - i wish i'd known moment?

If you dont want it disable OneDrive. One of the first apps i disabled.

Finally got rid of all the unwanted notifications now (I think). Certainly more bloated than they used to be.

Lots of apps where it says downloaded from the playstore but with no uninstall option.

I know they seem to be restricting Samsung Cloud more and more. I've had to restore from SC a couple times and it was fine. Restored from Google Drive and not so much. This is why I prefer to stick with Samsung Cloud - I've seen it work fine.
