have connected my hatachi sound bar to my samsung smart tv it works fine when watching ordinary tv but when i watch now tv it is just a cracklinh noise it is connected with a opticalaudio digital cable .thanks

Are you using Now TV via the app on the Samsung TV or via an external Now TV box connected via HDMI?
If you're using the app on the TV, try changing the settings in the app by following the instructions on this page
If it's an external box, it may be that the TV doesn't support passing through the audio from the HDMI source to the optical output.0
