Gift Voucher Extension

Hello everyone! I have a gift voucher from Blacks expiring in about 3 weeks so I emailed and asked for a refund or extension. I would be quite happy to get an extension, it's not alot of £ but almost enough to cover a new pair of walking boots 😊 but due to the recent lockdowns I haven't managed to get to the shop and the card can't be used online. They have replied saying that I need to let it expire before they 'look in to it' Does that sound right? I'm happy to do so if that's generally how it works but I've never let a gift card expire before without using it up and can't see why they wouldn't just extend. Anyway, I thought I'd ask before replying to them Thanks!

You don't have any right to an extension, so best to go with their suggestion in the hope they accommodate it.1
