Most of the reviews and ratings I can find for Nabuh Energy are dire. Is anyone on the Forum using Nabuh and how are you finding them?
We are high consumers of electricity (circa 24000 units p.a.)  and our EON fixed price contract expires at the end of March.
Nabuh's pricing is the lowest I can find and gives a significant saving over some of the larger suppliers. Their tariff is a variable one, but even if prices went up by 10% at some point in the following months it would still work out a lower cost than the cheapest fixed tariff deal I can find. And there is no exit fee, so I could always jump ship if prices fall elsewhere.
I am put off by the poor reviews, but then I am thinking what's the worst that could go wrong if I pay by monthly fixed DD.

You may use more than your DD covers .

Not sure how the Nabuh billing works, but I'm thinking that if I update the meter readings monthly, the DD would be adjusted to take account of actual usage. I will ask them when I get in contact with them next week.

Seems to be, based on using many comparison sites. Perhaps because 63% of our usage is on e7?

Quick update on this if anyone is looking for reviews on Nabuh!!

I initiated a switch through their website on the 15th February and received an email to tell me my Direct Debit had been set up successfully. Then I heard nothing for 10 days so I contacted them via their online chat.
The 1st person I chatted with told me that the switch request had been blocked by my existing supplier (EON) and that I should contact them to ask why. I called EON by phone and spoke to a very helpful person who confirmed that they hadn't even received a request to transfer and couldn't see any reason on my account as to why a request would be blocked.
So back to Nabuh chat, only to discuss the matter with another agent who told me the transfer was still pending in their own system and he didn't know why. He suggested that the best thing to do would be to cancel the original request and start again. He called me the following morning and we went through that process. Another email arrived on the 3rd March to advise that a DD had been set up successfully. Roll forward to the 9th March as again I hadn't heard any more from them. So I contacted them by chat and ended up discussing the transfer with the same person who had called me to resubmit the transfer request the week before. Once again the transfer request was stuck in their system and he didn't know why.
He asked for 72 hours to investigate, but I told him that if it couldn't be resolved in 24 hours I would take my business elsewhere. He couldn't commit to a 24h hour response so I told him to cancel the switch.
For good measure I have also cancelled the two DD that had been set up on my bank a/c.

If Nabuh can't even organise the transfer and can't explain why their own system is having problems processing my request, then they aren't a company I want to deal with.

I have now initiated a switch to a 2 year fixed deal with EDF which is costing a little more, but gives peace of mind in case of any increases in the next few months. There is no exit fee, so I can always switch again if prices drop.

Reader, please don't think Nabuh Energy have failed today - they went under months ago and transferred their customers to Centrica (BG).

Ofgem have finally revoked Nabuh Energy's supply licence:
    8. For the following reasons, the Authority has decided that, in order to protect the interests of consumers, it is appropriate to give notice to revoke the licence in accordance with Schedule 2(1)(f)(i) of the Licence:
    a. given that Nabuh is unable to pay its debts, the Authority is not satisfied that the company will be able to continue to provide or otherwise procure the services necessary for supplying electricity to its customers or to pay charges under the industry arrangements;
    b. Nabuh are not active in the market having sold their customer book to Centrica, accordingly there is no need for the Authority to appoint a Supplier of Last Resort.
    9. The Authority hereby gives notice that, unless the Authority otherwise directs, with effect from 00:01 on 18 September the licence shall be revoked.
