Hello,
We're currently on So Energy - So Alder (exp Feb 2021)
Gas
12.9222p/kwh SC: 21000p/day (£76.65/year)
Elec
2.2286p/kwh sc: 21000p/day (£76.65/year)
I've tried searching Citizens Advice and the suppliers offered I don't recognised. Which website seems to be broken.
On moneysupermarket.com the cheapest offering is higher than what I'm paying now. Is this expected?
Many thanks,

If you're paying 12.922p/kWh for gas and a daily charge of £210, ANY new tariff will be cheaper.tazgalsinh said:We're currently on So Energy - So Alder (exp Feb 2021)Gas

Wholesale energy prices have risen over the last 12 months plus Ofgem appears to have accepted that suppliers can increase their prices to offset CV19 consumer debt. There has also been a number of supplier failures. The cost of protecting the consumer balances etc also falls to all energy customers in the form of higher bills. All you can do is what you are doing, but also look at separate suppliers for gas and electricity.

I look quite often at the energy switching app in MSE Octopus comes out top BUT just done a quote for 4000kw of electricity and 12500kw of gas and Octopus comes out 15 pounds more expensive per month than Avroenergy. I pay £90 pm and good customer service. Can even Avroenergy on the list of companies .What's going on0
