Charging order

Hi, in 2007 I had an equitable charging order put on my house which I didn’t realise, it was only until recently when I wanted to remortgage I found out about it. I have found an old statement from cl finance showing £700 remaining from £2800, I’ve also looked at bank statements to show I was paying £40 a month and the standing order stopped with me owing £500 as I had ppi back from GE capital and they were going to pay remainder of my debt off out of ppi.  I’ve contacted land registry to get it removed they said I either need final statement showing it’s paid off or a letter from cl finance.  After looking I’ve found out cl finance are now hoist finance and have contacted them, they’ve said the account is closed and have said they will send out a statement but that was 8 weeks ago, I’ve sent emails to complain but they’ve just sent emails back saying it’ll take 4 weeks to respond, then after the 4 weeks we’re up they said it would take another 4 weeks. I’ve contacted the court where the charging order was given but they can’t help as they have no records of the case number, it’s been a couple of months now and my mortgage offer will be recinded soon if I don’t get it off, can anyone help in what to do next.
thanks
