File clean up question

If someone still has a debt showing from 2010 that has got renewed as default every month since then, and the person even did a dro a few years ago that this debt was included in
what is the process to get rid of it
they have filed a dispute with credit reference agents
but the debt is with Halifax who do we contact to get rid of it please?

Raise a query through credit reference agency to say it should now be removed if it’s 11 years since it defaulted they will contact the lender1

Defaults drop off your file naturally after 6 years, if this one hasn't done so, that is very unusual.
