I’ve no idea, but as mentioned, the items are weights, so I’m not messing about transporting them. 

Working. I work very long hours, from early morning well into the evening , plus the drive home. Lockdown doesn’t change anything for me, but I doubt they will want to collect at 10 pm.

It sounds like your preferred course of action is to be as unhelpful as you can be, without inviting them to sue you for holding onto their products unreasonably.  Only you can guess how much patience they'll have and how much risk you're prepared to take to meet your need for retribution.

Are you happy to have them cluttering your house just for the sake of being a bit more amiable. Presumably they are in your way. The answer to your thread title is surely 'As helpful as you need to be to get rid of them'.
