Maybe it is cheaper for an organisation to bulk buy tests for their workforce to do on the premises rather than have them go off site to test. It means they can start work at their usual times, rather than lose time or pay being sent to a different location to be tested.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. My works does have more than 1200 onsite at normal times, that is without the security, cleaning and contractors onsite. At present we are only supposed to have 250 of our staff onsite per day but that is raised with the other people working, who are also allowed to register for tests. I think the government were suggesting employers of 50+ set up their tests. We are a large site and made space to allow this set up, most places probably would find it difficult. In time perhaps empty shops could be set up for local workers to test at. Less than an hour after you test the result for LF should be with you. Positive, you need to do a PCR test, Void they suggest you do another fairly soon and Negative you are good to comply with the normal COVID rules.silvercar said:Maybe it is cheaper for an organisation to bulk buy tests for their workforce to do on the premises rather than have them go off site to test.
