Linking iPad with tv

I am with virgin and they don’t offer discovery plus which I want to stream.     I have tried searching for the app through my JVC smart tv but it says the app isn’t available through my tv.    I thought the answer would be to load onto my iPad then link that to the tv to watch.    I’m not getting anywhere with mirroring and have read that you can’t do it with JVC

Does anyone have any suggestions please.

thanks for the reply.   That link works on my iPad but I just get a blank white screen on my tv.

Best way to mirror ipad to tv is with an Apple TV box, but they are expensive.  Other methods include Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV Stick, both of which depend which client you are using on your ipad.

I downloaded the replica app onto my fire stick then onto my iPad but couldn’t get the two to pair up.    The Firestick app said I needed to load the mirror app onto my iPad which I did but couldn’t get it to work.
