Vanquis Default

Firstly, I am new to the forum, so apologies if I have posted this in the wrong area.
I joined up to this forum as I am having an issue with my credit report. I have a default that is due to fall off my report next month which will hopefully mean I am eligible for credit again. However, on checking one of the other credit reference agencies, they have a default registered which is not showing on the credit reporting agency I use most.
On my Experian report there is evidence of a Vanquis account; however, it is not defaulted. Whereas, on Transunion, there is evidence of the same Vanquis account being defaulted.
I am reluctant to notify Experian of the possible default as it could have major impacts on my credit score that I have worked hard to better over the years.
is there a possibility that Transunion are reporting wrongly? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
any help or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

If it’s due to fall off next month then it doesn’t matter who you notify as the default date would remain the same, Ignore the score, you will need to notify experian/Vanquis otherwise they may just keep recording late payment or overdue, better to get the default on there.1

Nope, looking back on my payment history on Experian, I had an account that had a balance which was then paid in full. However, Transunion differs to this.0
