Failed claims doesnt mean its a miss-sold policy... home insurers decline thousands of claims a day from things that are wear and tear, electrical breakdown etc that doesnt make the policies miss-sold.
It may be better to explain how you think it was miss-sold... how were the product features misrepresented? was it offered on a vehicle outside of the terms of the policy?
Also worth checking if its actually an insurance policy or purely a warranty, the regulation on the former is much greater than the later. I wont comment on RAC but certainly firms selling warranties on other devices often go to great lengths to ensure its not insurance.1 -
it would have been better to save that £1000 for future repairs. Warranties on second hand cars much like boiler cover is pointless imo. Better to self fund, as alot of exclusions and small print to wriggle out of claims"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
