Please help.

My Comp has left home,  staying with a young family.

So using my Samsung Galaxy Tab A SM-T510 tablet.

Ok, then kaput. No internet.🙃

Using a TP Link Router.

Galaxy settings Wi Fi states - ON.

Current network, TP-LINK_E948 states, "Connected without internet".
Same on higher frequency.

Using fone at moment.

Please helppppp.

Thanks for all replys.

  • It means it is connected to the router, but that the router itself has no internet connection. Try restarting the router first. Also check your ISP's status page to make sure no one has stuck a digger through the cables.

I used to have one of these and it worked fine then suddenly would not connect to the internet in some (not all) places for example hotel wifi. Can't remember exactly what I discovered but basically the wifi in the tab was too old and incompatible and there was no fix. Some people recommended checking date and time were correct on the pad. In the end I bought a newer version and it connected just fine

Router is TP-Link 1750, it has a WPS push button on the back and a reset hole for putting a pin in.

    Also same problem on fone.

    Thanks

And have you followed the advice above and restarted the router?

I have a nearly new sm-t500. I see this issue on my 5ghz network but not on 2.4ghz.  The tablet was a gift from my Mrs but it is disappointing.   Samsung have made these things for years so you'd think they'd get it right.  Resting on their laurels and milking substandard products.  The charge rate is abysmal too!
