Blocked sinks

Hi I have kitchen sink and a pantry sink inline,  the length from the kitchen sink to the pantry sink is about 4m and then another 2m to where the pipe goes out the wall outside. Internal pipe is white probably 32mm or 40mm standard PVC
Both sinks are not draining, makes me think the block is between the pantry sink and the external wall
My thoughts:
1. get a bit of clear PVC flexi pipe and siphon out water from each sink hole into a bucket
2. undo each U bend - clean and siphon again the from the vertical pipe into a bucket
3. when all siphoned out pour in some of this

Or
4. when all siphoned out use a 2m - 3m - 5m flexible drain rod to clear out any blockage.

I don't have any spirits of salt or a drain rod would like to know if I could get those locally i.e. from toolstation or local plumber supplies?
Spirits of salt says not suitable for kitchen sinks..  I assume to deter people from pouring it in through the metal sinkhole... it will eat through the metal. But I am going to pour it in through the top of the dismantled PVC pipe so that should be ok right?

Your thoughts please?

Spirit of Salts is another name for concentrated Hydrochloric Acid - Nasty stuff unless appropriate safety measures are taken. Don't breath in the fumes, wear stout rubber gloves, and don't get it on skin or clothes. Never, ever add water to acid.

A flexible drain rod from Screwfix/Toolstation would be much more appropriate - They do some that look like thin wire with a small brush on the end for not a lot of money.

like this one.. actually out of stock in all nearby stores within 30 miles..
    https://www.toolstation.com/drain-unblocker/p87734
or this one  instock and 1.5m longer looks like I will try this one.

try one of these first then.
probably better than the drain cleaner if the drain cleaner only eats through the sludge on the bottom of the pipe leaving sludge still on the top of the pipe..

Can you take apart any more of the piping? If any is push fit or screw together then take as much as you can apart and clean it. The blockage will be at a bend. Please stop pouring dangerous chemicals down the drain.

All sorts of crud can gather were pipes meet. I'd be giving it a thorough plunge first.
If you are able to undo the U-bend then u should be able to  catch the pipe water in a basin or bucket.
Harsh chemicals should be a last resort.
  • I've become a bit of an expert in blocked sinks, pipes & drains recently! I would clean out all the U bends first and use some kind of sink to clean out the straight runs of pipes. Check the gully outside too.

Mine was still blocked after cleaning out the "U" bend so I tackled it from the other direction
In the garden removed the pipe that angles down into the drain, inseted a hose pipe into the pipe that went into the kitchen, turned on the tap the hosepipe was connected too, pushed the hosepipe in and out, after a few minutes of perseverence the pipe was clear

Hint, never pour grease down the sink, or worse still wash out containers that you have used for some sort of filler (plaster) etc

My 40mm white pipes are all glued together as pushfits  only the waste traps are screw joints.  I removed and cleaned the traps and siphoned some of the water out of the internal pipe.
I can see them come out the outside the house also glued together outside.
The pipes inside the cupboards go through the rear of the cabinet (glued 90* bend so impossible to get off without breaking apart off the rear of the cabinet. I can only get the skirting off  to see underneath (have not taken it off yet.)

I'm thinking of applying heat with a blowtorch onto the, outside of the house, pipe joints to get them apart.
I like the idea of cleaning the internal pipe from the outside .

The pipes will be joined with a solvent adhesive. Applying heat will only soften the plastic and possibly set it on fire. Please keep a blowtorch well away.

Couple of youtube videos showed the way to do it was apply wet glue to the cut off internal pipe set it on fire to heat the plastic and they pull apart,  another guy heated a holesaw and put it inside the cut off pipe (no flames just heat) to the heat the internal pipe which softened the glue enough to pull the stuck internal part out.
I'm thinking blowtorch or a heat gun will heat it up nicely too.  I'll be working outside of the house.
