Subsidence Gurantee

Can anyone help or give me some advice?
I had some subsidence in my house. The insurance company have now completed the work and started to get the paperwork through.  In the paperwork, I noticed that there was no mention of any guarantee.  So, I queried this with the insurance company and they have just confirmed that they give a guarantee of 3 years on the work completed.  I'm worried that in a few years time if I have the same issue i'll have to pay another £1000 for excess.  I am especially worried is that they didn't pin the house and they only used stainless steel slip ties - which is very common nowadays.  
So my questions is, has anyone had similar issues with subsidence and how many years guarantee did you get?
