How do I find out when I passed my driving test

    It doesn't. It has a "valid from" date for each vehcile class, but that's not necessarily the test date.

    It's not a far off indicator though, based on the information the DVLA has available.

    The only way it's going to be adrift is if you passed your test in another country, or if you passed your test pre-DVLA, so before the early-mid 1970s.
  • When I passed my test the paperwork was administered by the county council and they were able to tell me that I passed on 12/12/1963. As Adrian says, if you passed pre-DVLA your county council may still have the details.

    I doubt if they could justify holding on to personal data for 40-odd years without a good reason.
