Consumer credit file request

I wondered if someone could help. I have a soft search on my credit file by Credit Karma and the name of it is consumer credit file request.
I haven’t requested anything or applied for any credit and I’m concerned my ex husband is trying to access my file. Can anyone explain to me what this file request means please?

I believe this shows when credit karma prepare your new report. If you’re worried about your ex take out CIFAS protective registration0
