Their site has been down most weekends for “maintenance” in the 3 months I’ve been complaining to them.1

Down as we speak so not normally trailing into a Monday.0

Looks like it’s all sorted then.....

Very pleased to see this issue being reported in today’s Sunday Times money section (behind paywall)

Comments suggest that pension IT and some admin has been moved to Diligenta, part of conglomerate TATA.

Good to see this getting some press coverage but just more of the same promises from the Pru - doing our best, taken on 100 extra staff, delays due to training being postponed as a result of lockdowns and home working etc etc.woolly_wombat said:Very pleased to see this issue being reported in today’s Sunday Times money section (behind paywall)

Plus promises it will follow up with others experiencing issues - but no commitment as to when.
Its a wonder the government isn’t taking some action given it is responsible for the teachers pension scheme and thus the choice of AVC provider. Local government is of course split across dozens of schemes.0 -
Been watching this for a while and can now contribute a positive update. I sought to move all funds within an AVC into cash in January, derisking ahead of retirement. The Pru did nothing. The funds lost fairly significant value. I complained then got the "further 4 weeks" letters. Eventually, at the end of last week they actioned it and reinstated the value to what it would have been had they actioned the request in January. So, it ended satisfactorily.0
