    If you live in/near London its certainly easier to (outside of Covid times) if you like going to their events (both official and the fringe ones)

    The benefits do change overtime and not always for the better... the two years where they included Cathay Pacific status was good as a One World carrier you had the equiv of BA Silver so free access to business class lounges if flying with a One World carrier, priority boarding etc
