It would be noticeable at scale. When I say scale I mean it will be evident that even two calls will look identical. Whenever someone pops up and says they have been able to make 400 calls, when others cap out at the 250 mark, you need to wonder what happened. Did the gods just smile on that one person? Were some calls deleted?

I think in this thread they determined that they were able to make 400 calls because they were entering this weeks competition and the subsequent competition as they're running simultaneously at the moment. Even if they were deleting entries why would they allow the user to continue making entries? If they have the opportunity to delete entries without the user knowing why would they allow them to make more calls. The whole thing is purposefully obfuscated which is why it's frustrating.

I'm not referring to the most recent incident. It has happened before, when it happened the entrants contacted Bauer and received a response that they were working with their telephony partner on comma dialling detection.

It's a fair point but.. of course they would say that. I'd rather err on the side of not trusting what they say tbh.

trying to get a head start on entries this week for MMAW but a lot of the calls have been failing. There’s no recorded message at all and then about 20 secs in the call fails. I think I might try a different number.

it might be just me but the numbers don't seem to be taking any entries?

I've tried all phone numbers and I'm told I've reached the entry limit - I'm certain I haven't!
