Hi,
Please can someone offer me some advise 7 years ago I purchased a Rock Door, the paperwork had a 10 year guarantee. I purchased the door as supply only because my cousin was a fitter at the company I purchased the door from. The other day I saw a crack had appeared on the door I contacted the company who supplied the door, they had been taken over a couple of years previously and said that they would have only offered at 12 month guarantee with it being supply only. I then contacted Rock Door who stated that my guarantee was with the company who I purchased it from and there was nothing I can do. Is this right or should Rock Door honour the guarantee, I have the original sticker that came with the door with the order number.

Was the door bought from a retailer or from a door trade supplier0

Rockdoor say "Rockdoors guarantee lies with GAP’s direct customer (GAP Ltd is the parent company of Rockdoor), not homeowners or installer (if the installer is a third party)." so they are not going to help here.
Did the company you bought from tell you any specific terms when you bought it or does your cousin have any knowledge about it being a lesser guarantee due to being supply only?0
