Critical illness question

Options
Hy my wife has just been diagnosed with a type 2 sarcoma and is due an operation next week to remove it, she basically getting a full hip replacement and part of her pelvis removed and rebuilt. The consultant has explained that its type 2 cancer and hasnt spread  thankfully so the op should hopefully resolve and her prognosis is good.
I have partner critical ilness through my company benefits. Does anyone know if this type of cancer would be covered by a typical critical ilness policy or am i likely to be turned down?, she is going to need at least 3 months off work and we will have a big hole in our finances for the next few months as a result. Any advice would be great.

Each policy has its own list of conditions covered and any minimum aspects on testing or treatment that they require, these change over time as new policies are written in line with current medical treatments etc. You'd be better off getting the list of covered conditions etc from your employers and posting what it says and any questions after reading it.
