If I tell my solicitor that my buyer hasn't had a survey, do they have to go back to my buyers solicitor and tell them? Also would my solicitor have to tell me they have done this?

Your solicitor isn't going to give a hoot whether or not your buyer has had a survey, it's purely your buyer's business whether or not they want to have one.0 -
People are quite free to buy without a survey (they might not need a mortgage) - although they'd be stupid - IMHO.Or, if the place only built 6 months ago, buyer is a cash buyer & a builder themselves and they've been round with 3 mates who have 37 years experience between them of property development then I'd be quite relaxed about it.But I'd let your solicitor know, calm & polite.0
