Any current accounts out there that allow me to open without a credit search to transfer to HSBC?

Not aware of any but if your credit status is that fragile then your chances of being accepted for an Advance account may not be brilliant anyway....

Its not fragile, but would rather open an account without impacting my credit file with two searches

Maybe a 2nd ac where you already have one? Do they do another search?

I was hoping one of the mobile app banks would suffice

I think starling and monzo dont I opened them last year did not take the overdraft and was only soft searched.

I was only soft searched for a Monzo account with no overdraft.

Which I immediately switched to HSBC for £175 last year.

If you have any with Halifax I don’t believe they run another check if you open a second account either

It isn't if you can make very substantially more than £125 an hour (after tax) elsewhere. The entire faff is unlikely to require an hour of your time.
