Radio X Presents with Barclaycard Online Competition on Radio X, February 2021

RULES

1.     The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at https://www.radiox.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition/) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Radio X Presents with Barclaycard Online Competition‘ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 8th February 2021 to 21stFebruary 2021 on Radio X (the “Radio Station”).

2.     Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  

Details of the Competition:

1.     To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to www.radiox.co.uk, register their details and answer the multiple-choice question provided on the competition page.

2.     Online entry will open at 10:00 on 8th February 2021 and close at 23:59 on 21st February 2021.

3.     From all correct and eligible entries, one winning Entrant will be selected at random. The winning Entrant will be contacted by a Global representative within 24 hours of the competition closing date.

Eligibility:

4.     Entrants must be aged 18 or over. 

5.     Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition. 

Prize:

6.     The winning Entrant will receive a link to watch Radio X Presents with Barclaycard on Thursday 25th February 2021. 

7.     The winning Entrant will also receive £500.

8.     Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. 

Additional Prize Terms & Conditions:

9.     The winner stream will take place on the evening of Thursday 25th February 2021. Each winning Entrant will be provided with a link and unique password via email, enabling them to access the stream. Due to government guidance, law and regulations in relation to Covid-19 measures, there will be no audience physically present at the event. The link is for personal use only. It is forbidden to share or upload the audio e.g. to file sharing sites.

10.  £500 will be transferred directly to the winning Entrant’s bank account via BACS transfer upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days. 

11.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

12. Entrants acknowledge and agree that in addition to the provisions set out at clauses 21 and 36 in the General Competition Terms & Conditions relating to fulfilment of prizes, our ability to  fulfil a prize, or perform any of our obligations under the General Competition Terms and Conditions or these Specific Rules (together, the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (Covid Measures). 

13. If, due to Covid Measures we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Competition Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Competition Terms and Conditions. In these circumstances, we will try and mitigate the effects of the Covid Measures by varying or swapping the prize in accordance with the provisions at Clause 21. 

Data Protection

14.  Your personal data will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited, Adventure Radio Limited and Quidem Limited), Barclays Bank UK Limited and OMG Group Limited as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Competition. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies.   

15.  We may hold your personal data for a period of 2 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations. 

16.  You will be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing when you enter the Competition. If you choose to opt-in, we will use your personal data for marketing purposes. 

17.  We, our competition partners and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA for the purposes of administering the Competition.

18.  By entering this Competition, you agree to all use, transfer and processing of personal data as set out above. For more details of our use of personal data please read our Privacy Policy. 

19.  You may remove your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Competition, you will forfeit your right to claim any prize and we will select an alternative winner.
