FSCS limit in view of Brexit

I was discussing the £85,000 FSCS protection limit with my mother yesterday. I remember it was supposed to be equivalent to 100,000 Euro, and actually did reduce to £75,000 when the exchange rates changed a few years ago. Where do we stand now, in view of Brexit? Is it still £85,000, or has it gone back to the previous UK figure of £35,000?

The FSCS limits are pretty easy to find. They have not changed and are stated here:

and it wont be going back to £35,000.  Thats a bit like asking if filling your car will be going back to under a tenner.

Will the FSCS deposit protection limit of £85,000 be affected by or revised after Brexit?
There are currently no plans to revise the FSCS deposit protection limit.

Well with current exchange rates, if it were to change it would be re-set to £90,000, not £75,000.

I doubt the UK deposit protection limit will now be linked to the EU deposit protection scheme.
