Claim for a PCN from 2016 lol

hi all, back again this my 3rd CCBC letter but still get my heart racing. so received a claim early this month for a PCN from 2016 nearly 5 years unbelievable. to be totally honest i know about the ticket (obviously) but ignored it for a couple of years and then it went away but it looks like the invoice was sold to another dept recovery company and they chasing me now for it. the event occurred in a local services where they let you stay for 2 hours for free, we usually go the for food or coffee and yeah its soo good that we end up over staying sometimes. the manager was a friend and he got me of the hock few times but sadly he no longer work there.
The claim reads: the Defendant is indebted to the Claimant for a PCN ../../2016. PCN was issued on private land bla bla. The vehicle was parked in breach of t&c signs(contract) ect. THE DRIVER agreed to pay within 28 days but didn't (NEVER AGREED TO ANYTHING lol) D is liable as the driver/keeper despite requests. the PCN is outstanding.
The contract entitles C for damages.
Claim for 170 PCN + interest @ 8% naming s69 cc act 1984 @ daily rate of 0.04 until judgement or payments + costs & court fees.
a week later (today) I completed the AOS, which i thick gives me another 28 days (C..M usually good with this
).
so again I call upon you lovely people of the forum for help and guidance.
ps. this time I will be using the home computer not my phone to do this and have plenty of time and energy (didn't work for a year) so ready for the fight lol.
And yeah this time around i want to claim for costs not like the last 2 times (getting ahead of myself i know)

Who's involved - PPC and Solicitor names?
Date of issue shown on your N1 claim form?THE DRIVER agreed to pay within 28 days but didn't (NEVER AGREED TO ANYTHING lol)The signage is likely to have attempted to stitch the driver into this. Shouting 'Never agreed to anything' isn't a defence against that point. Read what the signage says before going into denial mode.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

CP PLUS LTD and DCB LEGAL LTD. this happened such a longtime ago I have a vague memory of it and they've probably replaced the signs.
I'm in the process of trying with GM of the place through my old friend the ex manager to see if i can stop it. but as its a big chain not sure if i will be successful.( my mate did cancel few of them in the past but they never got to this stage)1 -

ok if you read that page the person emaile moto CEO , and it was cancelled , will that help cp plus is now groupnexus
I emailed the CEO of Moto as suggested in other threads on this forum and it worked. Ken McMeikan (Ken.McMeikan@moto-way.co.uk) got back the same evening I emailed him, at around 2230 hours and agreed to cancel the PCN.
I'd also sent the same message in via the feedback form on their website and they did also get back to me from there several days later and agree to cancel it. As I said in my first post, I did try contacting MOTO several months ago via to ask for this and was turned away so something has obviously changed - possibly my approach.

Read what the signage says before going into denial mode. With a Claim Issue Date of 1st February, you have until Monday 22nd February to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 8th March 2021 to file your Defence. That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.2 -
Then read that thread and complain to the CEO of Moto or whoever , keep doing the defence until you get a discontinuance providing the CEO gets a cancellation of the PCN
The more complaints he gets , the better2 -
