limit order - question for Fidelity users

Hi, I placed this morning a £1K limit order to buy shares and it got cancelled at the end of the day, as my buy price was too low. I've never used Fidelity for limit orders before this. When does the £1K cash become available in the account, as I would like to place a market order tomorrow morning. Is it going to be out of 'pending' status by then? I hope it won't be blocked for a couple of days. I could not find any info about this in Fidelity FAQ. Thanks.

It should be available tomorrow. When you place a limit order you can usually specify how long the order is good for to save you having to keep putting it on each day.Personally I don't like limit orders and only use them if there is no market price available. e.g. what seems like a good buy today might not tomorrow with new stock information, or changes in the market generally.1

Will be released by the time the bourses are open tomorrow.1
