When using Edge, I can't seem to get clips to play on the BBC site but clips do play on other sites and when I use another browser they play on the BBC.
I don't know what I have done but it must be something as they used to play no problem.
Any ideas?

Works OK for me. Is it just the BBC site you can't watch clips or any other sites with embedded video?
Can you share a link of a page that doesn't work for you?0 -
It's just clips on BBC website, ALL clips.
I can watch the clips on every other site that I have wanted to and I can see them on BBC using another browser.

Again, it works fine for me. Do you have any extensions installed on your Edge browser or any security settings you've changed? What version of Edge are your running, is it the old, legacy version or the newer Chromium version?0

It's the latest version of Edge, I use automatic updates.
I have no memory of changing any settings of any kind on the browser.
There are no extensions installed that I can find.0 -
Annoyingly I have now restored the defaults twice and still clips wont show0

Do you get any error messages?
Try clearing you browsing data, selecting All time in the time range and make sure you select browsing history and cached images and files.0 -
Another thing to look at is your Privacy settings in Edge. What have you got Tracking Prevention set to under Privacy, search and services?0

That's set on Balanced the same as it has always been and the clips used to play.0

2. Some Microsoft forums have report a problem with video playback and change the following setting to off see if it helps - if not change it back to on?
Settings > System > Use hardware acceleration when available
Sorry I'm probably clutching at straws really, works ok in mine on default settings, total mystery!

Strange, I tried to view one clip on the BBC Scotland daily virus page and it wouldn't play but further down the same page there was a clip copied in from Twitter that did play.
I am totally flummoxed on this one.0
