Eligability for student maintenance loan

Hi
My daughter is due to go to university next year Sept 21. With this in mind, I was considering taking an assignment abroad. Would this prevent her from receiving a student maintenance loan as I would not be paying UK tax whilst on assignment. I read around the topic but no conclusive answer, I can see reliability for the loan is tested based on parents income /tax returns?
Any advice appreciated?
