Sunday Times Where Was I? competition

The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at The Star Castle, built in the 16th century as an eight-pointed fortress and still intact today — complete with moat, bell tower and a bar in what was the dungeon. The castle stands just above Hugh Town on the largest island, St Mary’s, and also has an indoor pool, two award-winning restaurants and sunny garden rooms. Meanwhile, the lobsters and crabs served in the hotel are brought in each day by its owner, Robert Francis, and one dinner for two (excluding drinks) is included in the prize, which must be taken in 2021 or 2022, subject to availability and travel regulations/government guidelines.

Also included in the prize are return Skybus flights to St Mary’s from Land’s End airport (not including airport parking). Isles of Scilly Travel operates flights year round from Land’s End and Newquay, and between March and November from Exeter too.
