eBay payment takes forever

I've mentioned before that I use my PayPal account as my eBay "slush fund" for buying stuff which I know was entirely funded by selling all the old c**p I no longer needed, and this made me feel happy and smug!

I am therefore not a fan of having my payments going into my workaday bank account to be diluted and ultimately end up being used to pay for boring stuff like gas bills and council tax etc. 

Still at least we save the 2.9% PayPal fees.... Oh, no, wait, eBay have kindly upped their selling fees by the exact same amount so they have taken the entire and only cherry that this particular cake had to offer (for me at least).
