Morning all, here it's bright but with a freezing wind.Had a rubbish sleep last night and decided to start a new book at 2am, that was a mistake as then I was wide awake and couldn't put it down, so still reading at 4am. I feel a nana nap this afternoon may be needed.I have the dw to empty and that's all that needs doing today , haven't much energy for much else, then I'll carry on with my book, it's calling to me.I defrosted some pork steaks over night, so we'll have those for tea with something, haven't decided with what as yet but something potato based I'm sure.TTCBack hope your DF is ok now and on the mend.Right I need another coffee as my last one has gone cold.Take care all, stay safe and keep well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Afternoon everyone
Just had my lunch and little one is having her nap. We had a lovely time this morning - I taped a big length of wallpaper onto the kitchen floor and she painted on it - stripped down to just her nappy. At first she looked at me like granny had gone crazy but then she loved it - started off with the brushes quite sensibly, then feet and hands - she ended up as covered in paint as the paper was! I had to wrap her in the kitchen towel and put her straight in the bath - which she also loved as I put too much bubble bath in! The kitchen floor cleaned surprisingly well with my steam mop.
DD is picking her up about 2pm and then I'll go down to mam and dads for a little while to write dad's email to eldest DD in Sweden. She keeps sending me lovely pictures of deep snow and frozen lakes - it's minus 18 !
Its cold and windy here but no rain for the first time in about a week, so it seems a lot brighter. I watched a good film last night 'Military Wives' - it was on Amazon Prime if anyone has it.
Hope everyone has a good day and is managing to keep warm8
