Change of address

We bought a second home as a potential retirement home almost 3 years ago. It has never appeared as an additional address on my files.

We've moved there recently and I've just changed address for my car, driving license, bank accounts and I've notified the electoral roll.

What can I expect to happen now?

Will this appear on my files as my address, with my old house as an additional address? How long will that take?

  • It’s likely that this will now update as your current address and the other will go down as your previous as the bank and electoral role will link this as your primary address.

As an update - Clearscore notified me of a change to my report about a week ago. I logged in and it said my Lloyds account was going to be removed, probably because it had been closed. Then Credit Karma notified me a new address was appearing on my file, notified by Lloyds.

Clearscore again notified me today of a change to my account. I logged in and it said my Santander account was going to be removed at the next update, probably because it had been closed.
