Any ideas on what to buy a newly qualified teacher

Need some ideas on what to buy a newly qualified teacher, spending about £20 - £30 ish.

Thought about books and pens etc, but wanted something a little special.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What about a really nice pen set. Or a personal organiser, that would be useful for a teacher!!

Or you could get them one of those desk organiser thingies

    Hope that helps x

I work in a school, and a Taser immediately springs to mind. Oops, a bit over budget.

    Alcohol :D

This is a nice book - but you'll have to think if she'd mind getting a book about work. The classroom management one by the same author is excellent too but the swear filter doesn't like the link!

  • Hi chocogirl,i'm a newly qualified teacher and thought that the hampers that some of the others on here have made are amazing! Why not something like that with a few pampering goodies, chocs etc and then some nice bits for the classroom- i know im always trawling the pound shop sfor things for my class like sparkly paper, glitter glue, pens etc? then you cover all areas? I know that as an nqt i'd love something like that!! x
